- This initial begins the first response of the first nocturn of Matins for the feast of St. Martin of Tours (Nov. 11), 'Hic est Martinus electus dei pontifex ...' (This is Martin chosen priest of God).
- This image shows the reverse of a leaf with an historiated initial from an antiphonary. This side of the leaf, the true recto, contains the antiphons preceding the first response of the first nocturn of Matins for the feast of St. Martin, which begins on the front.
- Initial I with David in Prayer
- This initial begins the first response of the first nocturn of Matins for Palm Sunday, 'In die qua invocavi te domine ....' (On the day that I called out to you, Lord).
