Layout

19 long lines; ruled with a misṭarah.

Decoration

Texblock border-ruled in red, gold, dark blue; rubrications in red; page-opening frame-ruled in gold.

Script

Written in nastaʻlīq shikastah in black ink; pointed; Arabic in naskh.

• Formerly owned by Le Ch. Ferrão de Castelbranco with the address 70 Avenue des Champs-Elysées; probably Jean de Carvalho Martins Ferrão de Castelo Branco (1805-1849) (bookplate inside front cover).
