Summary

This manuscript is an abridged Italian version of Paolo de Perugia's Latin juridical treatise De societatibus mercatorum, on three forms of business associations peculiar to late medieval Italy. The manuscript was written in Gothic cursive script in the region of Tuscany in the middle of the fifteenth century.
