Bound in red-brown leather over pasteboard with flap; blind-stamped central mandorla with four blind-tooled lines extending in the cardinal directions and a blind-tooled frame; coordinating stamp on the flap; yellow paper doublure.

Layout

32-35 lines per page.

Decoration

Gilt frame with scrollwork lined in black (f. 2r), finispieces in gold and red with braid frame (f. 109v-110r); gold marginal medallions with red, black, or blue centers mark text divisions, sūrah titles in gold lined in black; vocalizations and readings in red and green.

Script

Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized.
