Layout

Columns: 1; ruled lines: 25; written lines: 24; Uniform layout. Visible pricking and hard-point ruling. Initial words written in larger characters. Hair side and flesh side are distinguishable. Several marginal notes in a semi-cursive script.

Script

Ashkenazi square and semi-cursive script, partially punctuated. Ḥayim: the word ḥayim is decorated (e.g. folios 10r, 31r, 37v, 67r, 103v, 133r, 133v).

• Acquisition: Purchased at a sale at Pattich's (?) 24 Apr. 1847, lot. 465 (folio [143v]).
