Columns: 1 ; ruled lines: 21; written lines: 20; Uniform layout. Varying number of columns a page. Visible ruling by hard point: bifolium by bifolium on hair-side, and leaf by leaf on hair-side. Visible pricking in outer margins only, quire by quire, on recto. Last written line within ruling. Graphic filler at the end of line. Initial words written in larger characters. Hair side and flesh side of the folios distinguishable.

Script

Sefardi square script, punctuated, of the 14th century.

• Acquisition: Adolphus Asher (b. 1800, d. 1853), Berlin bookseller and dealer to the British Museum (see 131-153: purchased by the British Museum from him on 24 May 1852: inscribed, folio [277v].
