Script

Italian semi-cursive script, not punctuated, of the 15th century. Shelomoh ben Mosheh ben Shelomoh ha-Rofeʾ : inscribed in the colophon, folio 231r.

Provenance

• Acquisition: John (sic!) Finn, most probably James Finn (b. 1806, d. 1872), British Consul in Jerusalem 1846-1863: purchased by the British Museum on 13 November 1852; received 01 November 1853: inscribed, [234v].
