Columns: 1 ; ruled lines: 14; written lines: 13; Uniform layout. Visible pricking and hard-point ruling. Hair side and flesh side distinguishable. Initial words written in larger characters. Leaf catchwords on every verso.

Script

Ashkenazi (French) semi-cursive script, punctuated, of the 14th century.

• Acquisition: Adolphus Asher (b. 1800, d. 1853), Berlin bookseller and dealer to the British Museum 1841-1853: purchased from him by the British Museum on 12 November 1853: inscribed, folio [286v].
