Worming in several phases (repairs wormed in different pattern), grazed surface.
Surface delamination, deliberate erasures.
Weak edges with tears and losses, a few parts folded under.
Creases from rolling.
Inks slightly flaking. Some ink spills.

Occasional contracted areas at edge with dark, brittle, flaking surface.

Layout

Columns: 227; ruled lines: 50; written lines: 50; Uniform layout. Ruling by hard point, membrane by membrane. Visible pricking and stitching. 227 columns in total, one to six columns per membrane. Few tagin present. Four lines left blank between the end of a book and the beginning of another. Leviticus begins with a new column. Every column commences with a new verse, most frequently beginning with the letter ו. The end of a verse not marked, but the position of Ethnah is marked by a black point. Three black points generally placed in the right margin at the beginning of an open or closed section. Sometimes these points appear at the end of a section to indicate the beginning of a verse. Special arrangement of lines of the Song of Moses, Ex. 15. The Song Ha'azinu, Deut. 32, is written in 67 lines. The first דרש of Lev. 10:16 is written at the end of the line. Puncta extraordinaria placed on the ten words fixed by the masorah. Majuscular and minuscular letters occur. The inverted letter nun is placed before and after Num. 10:35-36.
