Layout

Columns: 2; ruled lines: 25; written lines: 25; The beginning of each pericope is marked in the margin by a large ornamental ס. Each pericope is divided into 7 sections numbered with Hebrew letters in colours in the margin. The numbers of the commandments are written in red ink in the margins. The masorah magna occupies two lines in the upper and three lines in the lower margin.

Script

Yemenite square script, partially punctuated, of the 15th century. The scribe's name, Benayah ben Se῾adia ben Zekharyah ben Margaz, is not mentioned in the colophon. On his identification see 33.
