• Folios 1-3, 209-215 are imperfectly preserved.
   
• Folios 217r-217v contain doodles.
   
• Comments of a non-masoretic character are found throughout, e.g. 42v, 45r.
   
• A Hebrew subscription on folio 216v, with a date of 18 Marheshvan 1954, i.e. 1642, and the name of the city of Ma'abar, due to a later hand.
   
• Aharon ha-Kohen, inscribed with his name on folio 1r.

Layout

Columns: 1; ruled lines: 26; written lines: 26; Uniform layout. Masorah magna occupies generally two lines in the upper and one to four lines in the lower margin of the page. The titles of the books are written on the verso of each leaf in the upper margin. A number of masoretic notes is given at the end of each books. The beginning and the end of the Hafṭarot are indicated in the margin.

• Acquisition: Moses Wilhelm Shapira (b. 1830, d. 1884), a antiquities dealer of Jerusalem: purchased by the British Library from him on 23 July 1881, folio [220v].
