Layout

Columns: 2; ruled lines: 28; written lines: 28; Four blank lines are left between the end of the book and the beginning of another. Psalms are divided into 5 books. The beginning to a number of lessons is indicated in the margin. A scanty masorah parva. The sedarim are marked with the letter samekh in the margin. Some masoretic notes are added with a later hand.

Script

Yemenite square script, punctuated, of the 15 to 16th century.

• Acquisition: Moses Wilhelm Shapira (b. 1830, d. 1884), an antiquities dealer of Jerusalem: purchased by the British Library from him on 23 July 1881, folio [181v] (fse001v).
