Layout

Columns: 2; ruled lines: 24 26; written lines: 24 26; Uniform layout. Masorah magna in one line in the upper and up to four lines in the lower margin. In the resteored part of the manuscript there is no masorah. The number of verses and siman stated at the end of each book, except of Chronicles. The beginning of sedarim indicated in the margin with an ornamental samekh. Visible mastara ruling.

Script

Yemenite square script, punctuated, of 16th century.

• Acquisition: Moses Wilhelm Shapira (b. 1830, d. 1884), a antiquities dealer of Jerusalem: purchased by the British Library from him on 23 July 1881, folio [155v].
