Layout

Columns: 2; ruled lines: 26; written lines: 26; Hair side and flesh side distinguishable. Ruling with hard-point visible. Masorah magna in two lines in the upper margin and three lines in the lower margin.

Script

Sefardi square script, punctuated. Shemu᾿el ben Shemu᾿el ibn Musa: inscribed with his name in the colophon, Lisbon, 5243 [1483]: folio 185v.

• Acquisition: Benjamin Cohen of Bukhara: purchased by the British Museum from him on 17 November 1882 (folio [190v], volume 1, Or 2626).
