• Folio 1r contain an imperfect list of poetical pieces, but not all the piyuṭim enumerated are contained in the present volume.
   
• The last two folios (folios 89-90) are from another manuscript.
   
• Mosheh Yehudah: inscribed with his name in Hebrew, next to it illegible signature in Latin letters with the same ink (lower margin, folio 81v).
   
• Emanuel de Miliyat?: inscribed with his name (folio 85v).

Layout

Columns: 1; ruled lines: 22; written lines: 21; Uniform layout. Visible pricking and hard-point ruling. Initial words written in larger characters. Hair side and flesh side are distinguishable. Numerous marginal notes by various hands. Deleted paragraphs (erasure of censor?) e.g., folios 36r, 78v.

Script

Ashkenazi square and semi-cursive script, partially punctuated, with a number of notes in Italian and other semi-cursive and cursive scripts. Ḥayim: the word ḥayim is decorated (e.g. folios 2v, 3v, 8r, 19v, 44r, 49r, 51v, 87v).
