Provenance

• Acquisition: David Henriques de Castro (b. 1832, d. 1898), collector in Amsterdam: in his collection, his book plate (lower inside cover); purchased by the British Museum on his sale through Bernard Quaritch on 17 May 1899 (lot 484) (folio [161v]).
