The Book of Esther.
Notes
- Excision at outermost end, and a sewn repair suggesting strap attached at some time and pulled away.
- Damp darkening along edges, plus a few tidemarks. Few usage stains.
- Trimming has cut into edge. One small edge loss, and excessive trim in places.
- A mezuzah, or door-phylactery, attached to the roll at the end (an extra membrane of 70 x 95mm attached at the inner end).
