Contains a Latin translation of Plato's Phaedrus with a prefatory epistle addressed to Antonio Lasco; Leonardi Bruni's Isagogue of Moral Philosophy for Galeotto Ricasoli, which is also known as Isagogicon in Aristotelis librum De moribus ad Eudenum - a dialogue on human virtues and vices; and fourteen spurious letters between Seneca and Saint Paul the Apostle (written in a different script).

Bound in English Russia leather, ca. 1820, with gold tooling including the spine and inner covers edges; with marbled end papers.

Written in 19 long lines (dimensions of the written space: 110 x 70 mm.); frame ruled, with double vertical lines.

Decoration

Blue, red, and green major initials on leaves 2r and 23r; Red initials on leaves 5r and 5v; Brown ink drawing on leaf 13v.

Professionally written Humanist script (leaves 2-45r)

Late 15th century Italic script (leaves 45v-48r)
