Written in 26 long lines (dimensions of written space: 170 x 110 mm).

Decoration

Some very simple pen flourishings at the ends of chapters on leaves 5v, 6v, 22r, 23r, 25r, 25v, 32v, 36r etc.

Script

Written in a very unusual English Cursive hand.

Provenance

• Possible marks of ownership in 16th century hands on leaves 31v ("Standely"), 49v (illegible), 50v ("Henri Holt"); Formerly owned by Halliwell-Phillipps and sold to Warwick Castle Shakespeare Library (bookplate); Purchased as part of the Warwick Castle Shakespeare Library Collection by Henry Clay Folger.
