Layout

Written in 28-32 long lines, on the inner half of each page, with the outer margin (the center of the page) marked by folding in the first work (f. i recto-82v) and ruled in red ink in the second work (f. 86r-168r); the outer half of the page is used for diagrams and notes.

Decoration

Numerous small diagrams in Section 3 (Geometry, f. 56v-71r) and a few larger diagrams in Section 4 (Astronomy, f. 72r-73v, 80v) of the first work, in black and red ink; astrological diagram (f. 99r) and numerous tables in the second work; notes and underlining in red ink.

Script

Written in humanistic cursive script, by multiple hands.
