Summary

This small late-fifteenth-century Book of Hours, bound in two volumes at a much later date, displays the damage characteristic of parchment books that have been exposed to fire. This volume, which is the second volume, contains the Office of the Dead, followed by a section in a different hand (after fol. 24), likely from a different Book of Hours, which contains prayers to be said at Communion and Suffrages, with rubrics and some prayers in French, including lengthy explanations concerning the use of specific prayers.
