Various layouts: prose in 19 long lines; poetry in two columns, often with lines at angles, sometimes perpendicular; prose additions in 11-13 angled lines across the page. Misṭārah rules visible on some pages.

Written in naskh in black ink; pointed.

• Purchased for Columbia with funds donated by John Dyneley Prince, James Speyer and Jacob H. Schiff; accessioned 1905 (note in pencil, gutter f. 2r).
