Bound in dark red and black leather with gilt stamped central mandorla, two pendants on the vertical axis, and outer frame; gilt tooled design between the inner and outer frames. Pink paper pastedowns.

Layout

25 lines per page, border-ruled, extensive marginalia.

Decoration

Polychrome (red, blue, yellow) and gold floriated headpiece (f. 1v); suggestion of cloudbands on the first page opening (f. 1v-2); rubrications in red; textblock border-ruled in gold, black, blue; page-opening framed in gold. Some headings are set off in red with gold divider lines above and below.

Script

Naskh in black ink; pointed, partially vocalized.
