Binding

Bound in brown leather with central mandorla, two pendants on the vertical axis and cornerpieces all with paper onlay. Inside covers have lighter brown leather pastedowns with stamped frame.

Layout

16 long lines; border-ruled.

Decoration

Headpiece in blue and gold (f. 1v) with text on cloudbands in the first opening (f. 1v-2r) with gold, black, red and blue border-rules. Textblock on all other pages is border-ruled in black, gold, blue. Arabic source-text is overlined in gold and written in naskh to distinguish it from the translation. Gold, floriated tailpiece (f. 126r).

Script

Persian in nastaʻliq; Arabic in naskh.
