Lacquer cover with red central floral medallion with painted flower in-fill and two matching pendants along the vertical axis on an orange background with an inscribed frame in off white on a red background. Bright orange paper doublure.

10 ruled lines; border-ruled.

Decoration

Dual-page illuminated first opening with polychrome and gold headpiece, gold floral margin fill and text on cloudbands (f. 1v-[2]r). All other pages are ruled in between each line in gold and black and border-ruled in gold, black, red. Gold roundels mark verse endings. Rubrications in red, including headers and readings.

Script

Written in naskh in black ink; some elements in nastaʻliq; pointed, partially vocalized.
