Bound in reddish brown leather over pasteboard with flap; gilded inlay central mandorla, two pendants on the vertical axis and cornerpieces; brown leather frame, spine, and flap hinge; gilt-stamped flap; green marbled paper pastedowns.

Layout

15 long lines; catchwords every verso, lower left.

Decoration

Polychrome and gold dual-page illuminated first opening (f. 1v-2r); gold finispiece with gold painted flowers (f. 304r); polychrome and gold floral marginal medallions with blue finials mark text divisions; surah headings in white on a gold rectangular field with floral end-fill; gold roundels mark verse endings; textblock border-ruled in gold, blue, red; readings in red.

Script

Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized.
