Pew Registers were maintained at Second Presbyterian Church and indeed many churches in the 18th and 19th centuries. Today records are held by the Presbyterian Historical Society. The pew rent records document pew rents collected and from whom. Some books note where individuals sat and their home addresses. Volume six pew rent records covers 1794.
