Rebound in leather over pasteboard with flap (Type II); the original boards, gold and blind tooled, are incorporated into the new binding; red leather spine; pink paper doublure.

Written in 13 long lines.

Decoration

Dual-page illuminated first opening in gold with blue (f. 1r-2v); sūrah headings in gold ink lined in black; teardrop, circular, and pointed oval marginal medallions in gold and blue with blue finials; verse endings marked by gold rosettes with blue and orange or red dots; readings in red.

Script

Written in naskh in black ink; pointed and vocalized; headings in thuluth in gold.
